A current list of the software available on LUIS Computing Cluster is below. This list changes frequently as new software is added. You can request the installation or updating of a particular program or library by contacting [[cluster-help@luis.uni-hannover.de|cluster support]]. If you wish to use the LUIS Custer software environment on your own system

Here are a few things to know about the available software

  * [[https://www.docker.com/|Docker]] is not available on compute cluster but [[guide:modules_and_application_software#singularity_containers|Singularity]] is installed on all compute nodes. Docker containers can be converted to Singularity as discussed [[https://sylabs.io/guides/3.5/user-guide/singularity_and_docker.html|here]]
  * Some of the software packages listed below are not immediately usable because they require you to have a license. Contact [[cluster-help@luis.uni-hannover.de|cluster support]] If you need to be granted an access to them
  * All software are accessed by loading a **module**. See [[guide:modules_and_application_software|section]] on how to use the Lmod module system
